While Disney World may not have intense coasters like Universal Orlando, you can still get your adrenaline fix at Disney!

Disney is home to many coasters — Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, and Space Mountain, just to name a few. These rides can garner some long wait times as many parkgoers are looking to get a thrill — but there is one coaster with significantly shorter wait times than the rest!
We’re taking a look at the average wait times at Disney World for every ride, but today we’ll be focused on the coasters and their wait times. Let’s get into it!
Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom is the park with the most coasters and they are each unique! Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (70 minutes), Space Mountain (45 minutes), and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (30 minutes) have the longest wait times for coasters in the park. TRON Lightcycle / Run does not have a posted wait time since you can only ride using a Virtual Queue or Individual Lightning Lane, but it is the newest and most popular coaster. For a short wait, you can go on the tamest coaster in Disney World — the Barnstormer over in Storybook Circus.

Here are the average weekly wait times for each ride below, from shortest to longest wait time:
- Country Bear Jamboree: 0 minutes
- Tom Sawyer Island: 0 minute

Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Slinky Dog Dash continually posts the highest average wait times in all of Disney World. If you want to ride, we recommend riding first thing in the morning, late at night, or grabbing it as your first Genie+ choice (for those purchasing the skip-the-line service). Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is the other coaster in this park and it also has a long wait time almost all day. It DOES have a single rider line, but we’ve noticed that it can take just as long as the standby line sometimes!

Read the list below to see the rest of the Hollywood Studios ride wait times averages, from low to high:
- Muppet Vision 3D: 10 minutes

EPCOT
So here’s the thing with EPCOT wait times — Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is the only typical coaster in the park. Since it uses a Virtual Queue system with the only other option being an Individual Lightning Lane, there is no official wait time listed. In our experience though, the wait time has not been more than about 30 minutes recently while using the Virtual Queue, but it can vary depending on the day! Take a look at the other average wait times in the park below:

Disney’s Animal Kingdom
There is only one coaster in Animal Kingdom as well, but this one is quite the thrill! Expedition Everest is a fan-favorite coaster, but compared to other Disney World coasters and rides in the park, the average wait time is very low at 24 minutes! This ride also has a single rider line to make your wait even shorter.

The average wait times for the rest of Animal Kingdom’s attractions are listed below:
