It’s May the 4th, and that means a LOT is happening in Disney World — especially in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

There are tons of merchandise items to check out, yes, but we also can’t forget about all the special snacks that are inside the park to celebrate this day! But are all of them worth your time and money? We tried them ALL to give you our honest thoughts!
Starting out with a classic snack, we headed over to Backlot Express to grab the Choose Your Path Cupcake for $6.79.

This is going to be a HUGE hit for kids, or anyone who really loves sweets, because the amount of frosting on this is astronomical. The frosting to cake ratio is way off, especially since there’s either blue or red filling inside the yellow cake part (so, yes, more frosting).

This is actually about 70% frosting and 30% cake, so that’s something to keep in mind before you snag it. We do think the cookies and cream buttercream on top is tasty, but there’s just so much of it. Be sure to grab napkins — this is bound to make a mess!

Over at Docking Bay 7, you’ll find the Moof Juice with Rechargeable Lightsaber Swizzle Stick for $15.99.

The lightsaber itself comes in a separate package, so you don’t have to have it in your drink if you don’t want to, which we appreciated! The drink itself is very refreshing without being overly sweet, overly processed, or artificial. We feel this is definitely one of the better non-alcoholic options in the park right now. The flavor was certainly citrus, though it was all combined so well that it was hard to put our finger on exactly what the citrus flavors were!

The fun treats aren’t only in Hollywood Studios, though! We also headed over to Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs to check out the Bright Suns Chocolate Mousse for $9, which is milk chocolate mousse, lemon curd, tangerine, and brown butter cake.

This is a chocolate lover’s dream, that’s for sure! The mousse is very light, while the brownie is dense, fudgy, and full of dark chocolate pieces. The chocolate piece on top is very fragile, so be careful with it if you’re snagging some photos! We did find the brownie on the bottom to be a little hard to cut through, but when you actually bite into it, it isn’t unpleasantly hard, just dense.

The Milk Stand has THREE new additions to celebrate Star Wars Day, so you know we had to grab them all! First up was the new Pink Milk for $9.79, which is a plant-based rice milk blend with sweet and fruity characteristics.

The flavor profile of this one leans more fruity than the blue or green milk, but it’s a little hard to put our finger on what fruits they are, since the texture and flavor reminded us of a diluted bubblegum kids’ medicine with subtle notes of strawberry/general fruitiness. This certainly won’t be for everyone, and we feel it’s more geared towards kids or those who want a lighter, fruitier variation of the milk.

You can also snag the Pink Milk Cooler here as well for $18, which is a Plant-based rice milk blend with sweet and fruity characteristics and Bacardi Superior Rum.

We were advised to stir before drinking, as the rum is just added on top. The flavor here is more balanced than the regular Pink Milk, as the rum softens the sweeter and slightly bubblegum-ish flavors in the regular one. This version is smoother and less sweet than the non-alcoholic drink, and it mixes so well that we honestly couldn’t tell the alcohol was in here.

The final new offering here is the Kerkoiden Blue Cake for $5.29, which is a spiced vanilla shortbread cookie with ginger cream cheese icing.

The blueberry flavor here is noticeable in every bite, and the consistency and flavor remind us of a blueberry muffin. The inside was soft and stayed fresh, even after sitting for a second, which we appreciated, and the sweet frosting on top had a vanilla flavor that blended wonderfully with the blueberry. This is secretly VERY messy though, as the blue dye will get on EVERYTHING, so beware!

We can’t forget about the numerous new popcorn buckets that are also available for this special event! You can grab:
- Salvaged Protocol Droid Popcorn Bucket at various popcorn carts for $29

- Bantha Sipper at Fairfax Fare for $21.79

- Jabba’s Sail Barge Bucket via Hollywood Studios Souvenir Release Mobile Order on May 4th and 5th, then at Kat Saka’s Kettle starting May 6th for $30
