Introducing the latest addition to the Disney Cruise Line fleet: the Disney Treasure! Set to embark on her Maiden Voyage with passengers on December 21, 2024, the Disney Treasure marks the sixth ship in the lineup. While the Disney Wish is revered as Disney’s “Castle on the Seas,” the Disney Treasure will pay homage to “Walt Disney’s lifelong love of adventure,” as revealed by Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Josh D’Amaro in September 2022.
D’Amaro further disclosed that the design concept of the Disney Treasure draws inspiration from the opulence and enigma of a gilded palace, with influences stemming from Asia, Africa, and the enchanting realm of Aladdin’s Agrabah.
Unveiling the breathtaking Grand Hall, a novel atrium design that made its debut aboard the Disney Wish, adorned with the classic Disney Cruise Line signature sculpture of Cinderella. For the Disney Treasure, this signature sculpture will showcase three cherished characters from Aladdin: Aladdin, Jasmine, and the faithful Magic Carpet!
Disney has unveiled exciting details about the Disney Treasure’s stern, featuring beloved characters Peter Pan and Captain Hook to encapsulate the ship’s theme of adventure.
Peter Pan will be seen floating alongside the Treasure, while Captain Hook will be depicted leaning out of a porthole, his expression dripping with vengeance. With a paintbrush and paint bucket in hand, Peter Pan wears a mischievous grin as he glances back at Captain Hook, who is adorned in yellow paint.
