If you were planning to meet Deadpool at Disney California Adventure soon your luck may have just doubled on you — because he’s bringing a friend!

The movie everyone has been talking about this summer, Deadpool & Wolverine, has finally hit the big screen, and while we were stoked to hear that we’d get a chance to meet him at Disneyland, imagine our shock when we heard he’s bringing his best friend to say hi, too!
Disney just announced that for a limited time starting NOW, those wandering around Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure will be able to meet with Deadpool AND WOLVERINE — we know, we’re freaking out, too!

You’ll find Deadpool hanging around his favorite cozy reading chair, and you can listen along as he reads from his “big book of super special stories.” Don’t worry, though; although he’s not billed as typically a G-rated superhero, these tales will be family-friendly with a splash of inspiration and quippy charm in a way only Deadpool can deliver. This is also where you’ll catch a glimpse of Wolverine, who could drop by his best buddy’s chair to listen in on the fun, too!

Storytime with Deadpool might not be your only chance to catch this dynamic duo, though! Disney’s alluded that you might catch both Deadpool and Wolverine making appearances during select entertainment offerings like “Avengers Assemble!” and “Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Dance Off!”, which you’ll also be able to catch around Avengers Campus. We think seeing them both paired up against the likes of Starlord, Gamora, and a few other Avengers could make for an interesting interaction!

But, if you can’t seem to get enough of Deadpool & Wolverine, you can also grab tickets to see their feature film out NOW in theaters nationwide. The latest film in the Deadpool saga highlights the typically lone “merc with a mouth” tackling his latest bout of chaos and mayhem when he crosses paths with a still-recovering Wolverine. At its core, the movie is about their developing friendship and how they team up to defeat a common enemy — you know, with a little razzle, dazzle action thrown into the mix (it is a sarcastic superhero movie, after all)!
WAIT! Before you go, we know you have opinions and we want to hear them! Leave a review on Disney rides, restaurants, and more right here on AllEars. Good or bad, let your voice be heard!
To say we’re excited to hear about not one but TWO exclusive characters coming to Disneyland who’ve never been spotted in the parks is an understatement of a generation.
