Are you making sure you’re always following the rules when you visit Disney World?
You should ALWAYS follow the Disney World rules — make no mistake. These rules are in place to keep you safe and ensure guests have a good experience. While we like to explore unspoken rules frequently, there’s one VERY spoken, non-negotiable, fine-print rule that people keep breaking and it needs to stop.
There are several rules you can break at Disney World that will get you kicked out, but breaking the rule that explicitly says DON’T FEED THE WILD ANIMALS could result in something much more painful.
According to Disney Parks rules, “Feeding, petting, touching, harassing or harming any wildlife, including birds, is prohibited.”
So no, don’t touch or feed the cute birds, bunnies, squirrels, ducks, or other small creatures you see — that right is reserved for Snow White and other Disney Princesses in the movies and should not be tried at home, or in this case, at Disney World.
Not only could you get kicked out of Disney World for feeding the animals, but you could get hurt, as well. Unfortunately, we’ve seen so many people over the years attempt to feed or touch the animals, and — even worse — encourage their kids to do it.
We’re coming at you from a place of love when we say this — stop doing this immediately. We’ve seen kids and adults get bitten, it ruins their trip, and sometimes they get mad at the animal, which doesn’t know any better. Once again, rules exist for a reason…and Mickey is always watching 😉.
If you follow the rules and observe wild animals from a distance, just know we appreciate you, we see you, and commend you for following the law of the land.
In all seriousness, we value your safety and the safety of the animals, and by following this simple rule, Disney World will be a safer and happier place for all the creatures visiting it.

Amen to that! Feeding the animals is actually encouraging the behavior Disney works so hard to try and prevent so guests will have an enjoyable experience at the parks.
