Test Track officially reopens on July 22nd, 2025! This popular EPCOT attraction has been closed for over a year while undergoing a refresh, which included a new queue, new ride scenes, and new ride vehicles.

Currently, the attraction is offering previews for select groups, including Cast Members and Annual Passholders, but it will reopen to all guests on July 22nd. If you are headed to Disney World soon to experience Test Track 3.0, then we have some good news!
Test Track is listed as an available attraction for BOTH Early Entry and Extended Evening Hours. Early Entry allows guests of Disney World hotels and other select hotels the opportunity to enter any Disney World theme park 30 minutes before the park’s official opening time each day. This is a wonderful perk to get a head start on the day and knock out a high priority attraction before the park officially opens.

Extended Evening Hours, on the other hand, are available only on select nights and at a specific park. This perk is only available to guests staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort, Disney Deluxe Villa Resort, or other select hotels. With this perk, you can enjoy 2 extra hours in the park after it closes for day guests. This is a great perk to take advantage of fewer crowds and lower wait times.

The good news is that Test Track will be available during both Early Entry and Extended Evening Hours based on Disney World’s website. We have a feeling this attraction will be popular once it reopens, so this could be a great way to experience this attraction with a lower wait time.

If you are looking to ride Test Track outside of Early Entry or Extended Evening Hours, Disney recently gave us all the details on how to ride. Disney recently announced that there will be NO virtual queue when Test Track reopens, and it will be a Lightning Lane option with the Lightning Lane Multi Pass service. Test Track will be available as a Tier 1 choice with Multi Pass, replacing Soarin’ Around the World which will be moving down to Tier 2.

When you are booking your three advance Lightning Lane reservations with the Lightning Lane Multi Pass service, you can book up to one Tier 1 attraction and then two Tier 2 attractions (or you can book all Tier 2 attractions). The Tier 1 attractions in EPCOT when Test Track reopens will be Test Track, Frozen Ever After, and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.
