Okay, This Sneak Peek of Disney’s New Ride Is Making Us SUPER Excited

A new ride, unlike anything we have ever experienced, is coming to Disneyland!

As a part of the Avengers Campus expansion, Stark Flight Lab is an all-new ride set to make its debut in a few years. And we have just received brand new aerial photos of the construction process!

This brand new attraction takes you inside Stark Labs as recruits, being given the opportunity to see if you have what it takes to fly like an Avenger. This is a groundbreaking attraction that will combine two ride technologies that have never been used together before.

The ride will start with guests in a Chassis ride vehicle, which will move up and down on a track, bringing guests into Stark Labs. Then the ride vehicle disconnects and attaches to a robotic arm that will make guests feel as though they are flying.

Imagineers didn’t want the experience to feel robotic but instead alive, so they  used motion-capture data from dancers to make the robotic arms feel more natural in their movements.

Robert Downey Jr. reprised his role as  Tony Stark for the attraction and will be guiding guests through the experience. So now let’s get into the updates. A recent aerial photo from KTLA 5 shows that the exterior of the structure appears to be close to complete!

We can see major progress has been made on the exterior! And while this attraction still has a long way to go, we are so excited to see major steps being taken towards its opening. We cannot wait to ride this groundbreaking attraction!
