Sometimes the best days at the Disneyland Resort are the days when you just walk around eating snacks!

Well, that’s what we just did! We went around the Disneyland Resort, specifically Disney California Adventure and Downtown Disney, trying tons of eats and treats. No, we don’t just do it because we’re hungry. We also do it so we can tell you what’s worth buying. Buckle up, because we have eight different things to tell you about.
Our first stop is Schmoozies, which you’ll find at Hollywood Land in Disney California Adventure. We apologize for any craving pain you experience when we show the Mickey-Shaped Celebration Waffles we got for $10.99.

Honestly, loved would be an understatement for these waffles! They have strawberry filling, which is tart, light, and refreshing. The strawberry whipped cream has a light strawberry flavor, whereas the strawberry filling has more of a natural strawberry flavor. The waffle is crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. We love a good Schmoozies waffle, and this one did not disappoint! It’s a delicious cake-style treat that’s not overly sweet and just the right amount of tart. An absolute 5/5, and when you add syrup…WOW!

After that, we went to Pym Test Kitchen. You’ll find that at Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure. We got the Philly Cheesesteak Grilled Cheese for $ 16.79. It was a very unique grilled cheese! The type of bread lends itself to getting hard really quickly, so make sure you eat it fast.

The cheese was gooey, and the sandwich itself had a very cheesy taste to it. The flavors altogether are very tasty! We love the hot Cheeto puffs and onion ring chips on top, as it gives it a good crunch and pop of flavor. The best part of the sandwich was the cheesy flavor. The meat itself had good seasoning to it.

Staying in California Adventure, we checked out Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta to grab the Cinnamon Roll Cheesecake for $6.99. THIS. CHEESECAKE. WAS. AHHHH. MAZE. ING!!!

It’s literally a cinnamon roll in a cheesecake baked to perfection! It’s refreshing and flavorful without being overly sweet. The cheesecake had the perfect amount of cheesecake flavor, with the perfect amount of cinnamon roll flavor. The cream cheese frosting is heavenly and creamy. All in all, this was a delicious treat and an absolute must-try! We could eat like 10 of these…maybe we will.

In Disney California Adventure, there’s a dining spot at the front of Pixar Pier called Lamplight Lounge. There, we grabbed two things, the first being the Lemon Blueberry Cobbler Donuts for $11.00.

The donuts for $11 was a good-sized dessert. They were super tasty and fresh, with rich frosting that wasn’t overly sweet. The blueberry compote is made from fresh blueberries and does not taste artificial at all. The cobbler bits offer a great crunch, and there’s a slight lemon tang. The fresh blueberries also have a tang, which unfortunately takes away from the lemon a little bit. That being said, that doesn’t take away from how good they are!

We also grabbed the Lamplight Old Fashioned for $19.50 from the Lamplight Lounge. This was probably one of the best we’ve ever had! The maraschino liqueur added such a great taste and smoothness to the drink.

Combined with the Luxardo juice, it had a pleasant sweetness. It was such a great-tasting drink. For those who love an old-fashioned drink, this one is a must-try!

Our last stop was at GG’s Chicken Shop, which is at the Parkside Market at Downtown Disney. We wanted to grab three different sides, and the sides here for the price are amazing! Starting with the Crispy Brussels Sprouts for $6.00. They were the best bang for your buck, because the portion is pretty big. There is a lime chilli seasoning on top that is so incredibly tasty, zesty, and has a hint of spice that is perfection.

Then we grabbed the Sweet Corn Elote for $6.00. The sweet corn elote is a great snack as well. It’s a small cup of corn off the cob with cotija cheese, chipotles, lime, and cilantro. It was a bit heavy on the cotija cheese, but the flavors are absolutely delicious.

Lastly, we had the GG’s Mac & Cheese for $6.00. GG’s Mac and Cheese was a plain mac and cheese with no frills. This would be perfect for a kid with a small appetite, or if you just want a small snack. It’s a basic cheese flavor, but you can’t go wrong for the price!

We recommend trying all of these the next time you’re at the Disneyland Resort. They were all delicious snacks! For more Disney food reviews and snack roundups, follow us at AllEars.
