REVIEW: This Is EXACTLY Why We Keep Recommending This Disney Springs Restaurant

Planning a trip to Disney World and not sure where you should eat while you’re there? Luckily, you’ve come to the right place!

Raglan Road

We recently made our way to Disney Springs to eat dinner at Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant. It’s a popular spot at the Disney shopping and dining distrcit, and we’re bringing your our full review to see if it’s worth you checking out.

Background

Raglan Road is a traditional Irish pub that you’ll find in The Landing area of Disney Springs.

Entertainment at Raglan Road

The place feels very authentic, and that’s because it is, as the decor is brought over from Ireland.

Atmosphere

What we love most about this place is the performances. From music to dancing, there truly isn’t anywhere at Disney Springs that can match the vibe and entertainment of this pub and restaurant. The place has sit down dining that you can reserve, and it has a bar if you just want to stop by. It’s fun for the whole family or a party of friends, especially during times like St. Patrick’s Day.

We love the performances!

But enough about that, what are we eating?!

Food & Drinks

First up, we picked up the Strawberry Cucumber Mojito for $17. The best way to describe this is “summer in a glass.” The strawberry and cucumber flavors go so well together, and it is obvious that the flavors are natural. There are actually no artificial flavors at all.

Strawberry Cucumber Mojito

The cucumber is so refreshing! If you had a few of these, they might sneak up on you, as the rum is present, but so well balanced. Order this after a hot day in the sun, because it is the perfect drink for Florida days. The mint is very light, so if you’re a fan of a traditional mojito, you may be disappointed.

This is such a refreshing drink!

To eat, we grabbed the Pretzel with Beer-Braised Onion Cheese Sauce for $12. The pretzel was perfectly buttery and fluffy, with plenty of substance in the middle. This was a GREAT pretzel!

Pretzel with Beer, Braised Onion Cheese Sauce

The sauce was so creamy, and the cheese flavor was strong enough to stand up to the pretzel and butter. There is a slight spice burn coming at the end of each bite, which just makes you want to go in for another dunk.

This is amazing!

The braised onions are cooked down so well, and they are really sweet, bringing balance to the spice and the super creamy cheese.

We were big fans of this!

Next, we grabbed the Now You’re Talking Chicken Sandwich for $24.95. If you go for this, we’re warning you that this sandwich packs a spicy punch! The spice level is just above a medium buffalo wing sauce, and the tingle lingers well after each bite.

Now You’re Talking Chicken Sandwich

The chicken was perfectly cooked and so juicy. The bun is buttery and tender, and the slaw on top adds a little relief. Overall, this is a delicious and well-made spicy chicken sandwich.  The steak fries are perfectly fried and are very fluffy inside. Be sure to ask for some malt vinegar to dip these hearty fries in, as it seems to calm some of the spice from the sandwich.

It’s spicy but good, and the fries are amazing!

Lastly, we had the Ger’s Bread Pudding for $13.50. The bread pudding was buttery, soft, and full of plump raisins. It also had velvety smooth sauces. Everything combined convinced us that this is one of the best puddings anywhere.

Ger’s Bread Pudding

This is definitely big enough to share as it’s on the rich side. Then again, it is so good that you may not want to share it. The bread is well coated in the custard, and the outside gets just crunchy enough to add a little texture. The raisins plump during cooking, adding little bursts of sweetness and additional moisture.

Let’s try it!

Magic or Tragic?

This Disney World restaurant is a must-visit if…

  • You’re looking for a place with fun entertainment! One of our favorite, if not our favorite, things about this place is the entertainment. The dances and the music are a must-see.
  • You love Irish-inspired food. Well, of course! Raglan Road has some pretty great Irish eats like Fish and Chips and Shepherd’s Pie and even if you’re not super familiar with them, it can be a great place to try them. The staff is very knowledgeable on the dishes and the menu is easy to understand.
  • You want an extensive menu. The menu has a whole bunch of options and not just with food. They have an extensive drink menu with tons of beers, whiskey flights, and Guinness (of course!). We love to grab a drink here and maybe an appetizer or two if we’re looking for a quicker meal, but they also have entrees and desserts to complete the whole experience.

You should skip this Disney World spot if…

  • You want to sit somewhere more chill! The energy is high in this restaurant, so if you want a more relaxed dining experience, you might want to check somewhere else.
  • You want something quick and easy! There are lots of quick-service options at Disney Springs if you want to grab something and walk around.
  • You want a more affordable meal. Like many Disney Springs restaurants, Raglan Road isn’t necessarily cheap. Most entrees cost between $24 and $41, and most appetizers are around $18. This might be better for a special occasion to celebrate, but it might be too much to feed the entire extended family.

Overall, we’ll definitely be back here. We love everything about this place, and they never miss when it comes to the food! We highly recommend you check it out at some point.

We love Raglan Road
