I'm Muppet Obsessed, and You Know Where You Can Find Me on May 21st

Go ahead and pull open your calendar and add a special event to May 21st because Muppet fans are getting some love.

We are obsessed

While there’s a lot of Muppet love coming to Disney World, something special is coming to Disneyland that might be worth a whole trip.

A Sam Eagle Bucket is coming to Disneyland. Disney hasn’t made an official announcement (aka no pictures yet!), but if you check out the menu for the Refreshment Corner on Main Street, U.S.A., it says a Sam Eagle Bucket will be coming on May 21st.

There will be a limit of two buckets per person, and it will cost $19.79. The bucket comes with Firefly Chips, which are Spicy Corn Chips topped with Chili, Cheese, and Jalapenos. How fun to have a bucket that’s not just a popcorn bucket!

Disneyland and Disney World are celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States, so it makes sense to us that Sam Eagle needs to make an appearance. You can catch the new version of Soarin’, called Soarin’ Across America. In Disney World, it will open on May 26th, and in Disneyland, on July 2nd.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Sam Eagle make an appearance in the parks. In 2023, there was a Sam Eagle Sipper at Regal Eagle Smokehouse in EPCOT. They were super popular (and our team definitely has a few), and if it’s something Muppets, it’s probably going to sell out quickly.

So patriotic

On May 26th in Disney World, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will be opening in Hollywood Studios, too. Sounds like we have a Muppet-packed summer ahead of us.
