Everyone, calm down! Some big changes are coming to life in Hollywood Studios!

The Muppets are taking over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starting on May 26th, 2026, after months of waiting. Ahead of the reopening, we are starting to see the concept art come to life, and now, one of the biggest changes is looking complete.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is looking more colorful than ever! We are less than a month away from the ride reopening under new management, so we are on high alert for big changes. During our latest stop inside the theme park, we spotted some psychedelic changes that made us squeal.

The famous guitar is officially colorful, and the scaffolding is down. The outside is looking more like the concept art every day. We’ve been closely watching this change, and this is the best view we’ve seen of the guitar changes. The only thing still missing (that we can see) is the ride’s logo in the bottom left corner near the star.

We also know that the piano keys below the guitar will get a new golden key, inspired by Dr. Teeth, but we can’t see the piano keys just yet. We also have yet to spot the attraction’s new poster to the left of the ride. Disney has already revealed what the poster will look like, but it hasn’t made its theme park debut yet.

This is one of the biggest signs that the ride’s reopening is getting closer and closer. We love how colorful the guitar is, and we’re sure it will look gorgeous when it’s lit up at night. It also stands out well in front of the dark paint on the building.

Disney recently updated the archway at the courtyard entrance. The archway now mirrors the gray and silver colors, which makes the car really pop.

Disney also recently shared an inside look at the attraction’s new queue. We’re seeing LOTS of love for Gonzo, and it’s made us feel even more excited for the hidden details we will have to find once the ride opens.

We also know that the ride will have 5 rotating songs that you can hear when you ride. They are:
- “Song 2” — The Electric Mayhem (made famous by Blur)
- “Born To Be Wild” — The Electric Mayhem featuring Camilla the Chicken (made famous by Steppenwolf)
- “Love Rollercoaster” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Jennifer Hudson & Questlove
- “Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Def Leppard
- “Walking on Sunshine” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Kelly Clarkson

We also know that the Electric Mayhem looks AMAZING thanks to some behind-the-scenes photos that were shared when we got the full song list. We are so excited for the big takeover. Be sure to keep following AllEars for more Disney news, updates, and more.
