Disney Reveals New POSTER For ‘Star Wars’ Ride Changes

Something HUGE is changing for a Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge ride in both Disney World and Disneyland. Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run is getting its first update since the ride debuted in 2019.

The ride will get some brand new scenes and story inspired by the upcoming The Mandalorian and Grogu film, and ahead of this new version’s debut on May 22nd, Disney just dropped a fun new poster for the attraction.

The new poster features artwork from The Mandalorian and Grogu in front of the Millennium Falcon. The Star Wars Millennium Falcon logo is below it.

This goes in line with what Disney told us about the ride update, including how “you’ll be able to fly alongside Mando and Grogu on thrilling, and dangerous, missions.” The brand new mission will also fit the narrative of the new movie and will bring brand new locations to the ride, including Tatooine, Cloud City on Bespin, and the Death Star wreckage near Endor.

Disney also partnered with Epic Games to develop new gameplay for the ride, which will coordinate with the new locations. You’ll even get a chance to choose where the new mission will take you.

Disney is also upgrading the engineer position (which many fans have complained about as being the most boring position on the ride). When the new version of the ride opens, the engineer will be able to communicate with Grogu and choose where the mission will take the crew.

We’re guessing that there might be even more changes that Disney hasn’t told us about yet, so we’ll be counting down the days to May 22nd to ride it for the first time. We’ll be covering all the changes when the new version of the ride opens in May, so be sure to check back with AllEars again soon for more.
