Friends, grab your wands and robes — class is in session! There are many things we love about heading into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal.

You can cast spells, check out some of the park’s most popular rides, and dive into some pretty tasty snacks. During our latest stop by the park, we tried out a new snack in the Wizarding World. We’re putting it to the test right here!
If you’re looking for classic British bites, you might want to head to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley in Universal! This land has a London section out front, and then magic occurs, and you’re in Diagon Alley just like Harry Potter himself.

While we love the magical feeling in Diagon Alley, you shouldn’t overlook London. This small but mighty section of the park has some seriously fun Easter Eggs and the London Taxi Hut. This snack stand is home to some of our favorite bites and the new snack we’re here to try!

We tried out the Sausage Roll for $13.99. This quintessentially British snack might be unfamiliar to some. It has seasoned meat inside a pastry, so it’s fairly straightforward in design.

The sausage in this was thick, and it was a mixture of textures. It’s softer than a hot dog or kielbasa, so don’t expect that snap bite here. This was almost more like biting into a thick patty. This was super pleasant and well-spiced, so it had lots of flavor. The pastry was super crunchy and light, but it was a bit greasy. This wasn’t bad, just something to note!

The pastry was a nice upgrade from the traditional fast food options in the parks. We could see this pairing very nicely with a cold beer or crisp soda. It’s a great snack for one, but we wouldn’t recommend splitting it. It has enough flavor, and it’s buttery enough that we don’t think it needs any additional condiments. We think adding anything to it would take away from those delicious spices.

This was delicious all the way to the end with some great crunchy and salty bites. It was easy to enjoy on the go and made for a great late afternoon snack to get you to dinner.

If you need a larger meal or you’re looking for a familiar snack, this might not be for you. If you need a larger snack, this stand is also home to the famous Jacket Potatoes for $11.99. These are very comforting, familiar, and hearty. If you’re seriously hungry, we’re obsessed with the Shepard’s Pie Jacket Potato.

Need something sweet in the Wizarding World? You can’t go wrong over at Florean Fortescue’s Ice-Cream Parlour!

We love any time a new snack gets added to the theme parks, especially when we love it! As always, be sure to keep following AllEars for more Universal news, reviews, updates, and more.
