“Worst Wig Ever.” Fans Aren’t Holding Back About Disney’s NEW Han Solo Character

Look, we’re all excited about the big change happening at Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge, but that doesn’t mean we love everything about it!

Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge is getting ready to add characters and stories from the original Star Wars trilogy on April 29th. As excited as everyone is about this new addition, there is one thing specifically that fans are simply not having!

On April 29th, just in time for May the Fourth, Disney will be bringing in characters and storylines from Star Wars films and TV shows that have never been featured in the park, including A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, The Mandalorian, and more.

Of course, among those characters will be Han Solo, joining alongside his Chewbacca and the Millennium Falcon. Disney just revealed the first look at Han Solo at Disneyland, and fans are freaking out…just not in a good way.

The internet has gone crazy since Disneyland revealed that Han Solo is coming to the park. However, people are not fans of the way the iconic character looks. X has been blowing up, our comments have been blowing up, and people are annoyed, to say the least.

Variety highlighted some of the internet’s comments. “Meh. He’s no Harrison Ford,” said @NotaSheep8621 on X. Maybe @knmwt15000 put it best, saying what we’re all thinking — “Worst wig ever.”

Someone compared it to how the Guardians of the Galaxy are represented at Disney California Adventure, “I’m sorry but that’s just some guy lol. They have similar issues with Star-Lord” (@Delmancha129 on X). While another person stated Han Solo became a Disney Prince — “So Disney turned a space prince into Prince Charming?! Come on, he still shot first!” (X user @meokater).

On our own Instagram post, you voiced your opinions. “Awesome! But why did you post a video of Flynn to announce it?” said @devsusername. Or, “I’ve seen better cosplayers lol,” said @rceracreations. While a TON of you posted gifs and photos, simply questioning who that even was!

Some more characters that are coming are Princess Leia Organa, Luke Skywalker, and Darth Vader. He’ll be walking around with Stormtroopers looking for any remaining Jedi. You wouldn’t think they’d get these wrong, but we’ll see. It seemed like Leia was pretty well received, especially for her costume.

We’re looking forward to the changes, even if there are some things we’ll have to get used to. Who knows, maybe all the fans will be able to convince Disney to make some changes to Han Solo. For more Disney news and updates, make sure to stay tuned to AllEars.
