3 New Perks Coming to Disney World Hotels This May

Don’t look now, but Cool KIDS’ Summer is almost here at Disney World, and this special event is bringing a whole lot of offerings for kiddos to enjoy!

Cool KIDS’ Summer officially begins on May 26th and goes through September 8th, 2026. We’ve talked about a lot of the perks that will be coming to Disney World’s four parks, but those aren’t the only spots filled with family fun! There are THREE offerings that will be coming to some Disney World Resort hotels, and you’re not going to want to miss them.

If you’re planning to come to Disney World this summer, you’re going to want to look at booking one of four hotels specifically. Those include Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney’s Port Orleans — Riverside. These hotels will have the three NEW offerings that are coming to Disney World starting next month. So, what are these new offerings?

Complimentary Items

These four hotels will be providing complimentary childcare items “to help care for your little one during your stay” this summer! These items will include things like bottle warmers, infant bathtubs, diaper disposal units and nightlights. Disney said once you get to the hotel, they “will be ready and waiting.”

Special Libraries

These four hotels will also have special libraries curated by Disney Publishing. Wait, so does that mean some bedtime storytime? That’s right! There will be select evenings that will present a “cozy pajama party” that includes story time and other bedtime activities. It’s like a giant slumber party for all the kids at their Disney resort.

Campfires

Lastly, there will be campfires on select evenings at these hotels. Yes, you will be toasting marshmallows and doing a Disney-inspired campfire sing-along! Now that sounds like a fun nighttime addition once you get back from a day at the park. Other resorts have campfires as well, but this could pop up at hotels that don’t normally have this perk!

On top of all those perks, the hotels will feature scheduled character meet and greets. It’s something you’ll want to keep an eye out for during your stay. It’s fun to meet some Disney friends at your hotel!

Don’t forget that staying at a Disney World hotel also means you have access to Early Entry into the four Disney World Parks. This means you get to enter any of the park’s 30 minutes earlier than when it opens to guests. Might as well get your Cool KIDS’ Summer days kicked off early!
