Disneyland Just Made a BIG App Change to Help You Plan Your Trip

If you’re going to the Disney parks, you’ll want to have the proper apps downloaded on your phone.

For Disneyland Resort, that’s the Disneyland app. It comes with maps, a list of wait times for attractions, the ability to Mobile Order your food, and so much more. But recently, the app has been rolling out a new feature!

The Disneyland app has been rolling out guides to each of the theme park lands, and these could help you a lot when visiting the park or planning your visit.

So far, only two guides have been added — Mickey’s Toontown and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. They have lots of helpful information, including a list of the available attractions with their wait times…

…character meet-and-greet options…

…and a list of available dining locations and shops. Each land guide also contains a map so you can see where everything is located.

The Galaxy’s Edge guide is fairly similar. At the top, it has a section listing all the iconic character meet-and-greets you’ll find there. Several new characters were recently added to this land.

The shopping options here are pretty lengthy, considering there are multiple stalls in the marketplace.

Of course, you can also check out wait times and important details for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Rise of the Resistance.

If you’re interested in live entertainment, that’s listed as well.

And of course, the guide highlights all the food options in the land.

These are a great way to get a feel for the park at a glance, and we can see them being helpful to those visiting for the first time, or even repeat visitors looking for something specific. We’ll be on the lookout to see if they add more guides for the other lands soon!
