The Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop has been a staple at Disney Springs since the 90s!
After several decades of serving delicious chocolate, sundaes, and amazing treats, a change is coming to the Ghirardelli Shop in Disney Springs.
The Ghirardelli Shop is closing soon for a major refurbishment that will include more indoor seating, a smoother checkout experience, and more. Given the extensive nature of this refurbishment, the store will not reopen until sometime in 2027.
However, don’t panic! You’ll still be able to get your Disney Springs chocolate fix in the meantime. When the original store closes, the Ghirardelli Shop will temporarily relocate to the Disney Springs Town Center. This means that everyone will still be able to enjoy the sundaes, signature chocolate treats, and the rest of the full menu!
Lacey Zane, the Vice President of Restaurant & Retail at Ghirardelli Chocolate Company, explained, “Our longstanding relationship with Disney is an important part of that story…We look forward to continuing to serve guests at our temporary location in Town Center during this transition and unveiling an updated space in 2027.”
We are so excited to see these changes and improvements to the Ghirardelli Shop, but we are thrilled that guests will still be able to get all their favorite treats at the temporary location in the meantime!
