Disney World currently has many construction projects underway for new lands and rides across the four theme parks, including Piston Peak, Monstropolis, and, of course, the Tropical Americas expansion.

And we just got a new Tropical Americas update that you’ll want to see, so let’s dive into everything!

Tropical Americas is a new land coming to Animal Kingdom, where DinoLand U.S.A used to live. It is going to feature both Indiana Jones and Encanto and have several new rides, and immerse guests into these two beloved worlds.

Construction has been well underway for several months, and we just found new aerial photos from @bioreconstruct that give us an update on the process. The first photo shows that the concrete walls that will be the exterior of the Encanto Casita are starting to be built, which is set to be in front of the Encanto ride.

There is another new photo that shows the steel frame for the Mayan pyramid, set to be in front of the Indiana Jones attraction, has started to be built.

Now, this last new photo is a sad one! Here we can see the remains of the beloved Restaurantosaurus under construction. *Cue the tears* you’ll live forever in our hearts DinoLand.
