If I’m being completely honest with you, once Disney World announced that DinoLand U.S.A. was being closed for a Tropical Americas themed area, I stopped listening after DinoLand U.S.A.‘s closing. While I’m devastated that I can’t ride my niche dinosaur ride anymore, I am also the world’s biggest Encanto fan, so maybe life can’t be that bad.

Set to open in 2027, Pueblo Esperanza will have an Encanto attraction where you enter Casita (no, really, you go INTO Casita, and I freak out every time I see any images about it) and an Indiana Jones ride with a new storyline, versus its Disneyland counterpart. You can’t forget about the animal carousel, too. Ready to see a new update?
As always, we have to thank bioreconstruct on X, who posts the best aerial photos of the construction sites. Here’s a look at the carousel! It’s really starting to take shape, and I might actually believe it’s opening in 2027.

Here’s a nice overview of the land. Indiana Jones is in the top-left (formerly known as DINOSAUR).

Another wider view of the carousel. That’s Restaurantosaurus at the top!

I really can’t get over the carousel’s frame. This is definitely going to be popular with all the different animals. We’ll have to figure out our new favorite characters on it.

This massive building to the right is Casita! Okay, it doesn’t look like Casita yet, but give it some time. We think the area to the left will be part of the queue or a preshow.

It could also be the exit for the attraction (and yes, I’m already planning on my budget for the gift shop. New Encanto merch? I’m going to need it all!).

While we don’t have any opening details besides 2027, it looks like it’s coming along great. I’m ready for Disney to give us some more details about the ride and more concept art. Also going to need more about the food immediately (and how many different types of arepas can I get?).

Make sure you keep following AllEars for more Disney updates! We’re always in the parks bringing back new details so you can stay fully informed in the greatest theme parks.
