NEW Progress Update on Disney’s ‘Encanto’ Ride Coming to Animal Kingdom

DinoLand, U.S.A., is closing today to make room for the new Pueblo Esperanza land, and while we’re sad to see it go, we have some exciting new updates we couldn’t wait to share!

The new land will be themed after the Tropical Americas. It will feature an Indiana Jones ride where DINOSAUR is currently, along with a new carousel and a new Encanto ride! Here’s all of the construction progress from this week.

Pueblo Esperanza is making some great progress on construction, with concrete forms popping up on the carousel side of the land. There’s a new structure currently being built, and some new structures to its left hidden under the trees.

On the Encanto side of the land, there are new concrete walls surrounding the tree line with a fence on top, with some concrete walkways branching off from it. It looks like we have a new boundary to get the scope of the land!

There’s a lot of progress on the ride building, with a new roof and a new section of steel beams at the front of the building. There’s also a new concrete structure in front of the building, which we assume is either a new part of the ride building or a queue entrance.

We’re patiently waiting to ride the new Encanto ride at Animal Kingdom. It will take you through the Madrigal’s house during the part of the movie where Antonio accidentally transforms the home into a rainforest!
