3 Clues About The NEW Lakeshore Lodge Coming to Disney World in 2027

There is a brand new resort coming to the Magic Kingdom area at Disney World. 

Disney’s new Lakeshore Lodge is set to open in summer 2027, but we just got brand-new concept art! So let’s dive into everything you can expect from this new resort.

Lakeshore Lodge is going to sit on Bay Lake near Fort Wilderness Campground, where River Country used to be. This resort will have a nature theme as well as waterfront cabins. Now, let’s get into this concept art!

Wow! There is a lot to look at here. Here, we can really see that the focus is on nature pulling through, with a lake right next to the main pool. It looks like this main recreational area will include a pool, splash pad, corkscrew waterslide, and a lazy river.

This seems to be another lobby or indoor recreational area right on the lake. We are loving this commitment to incorporating nature into the resort, especially considering it’s where River Country once was!

Here we can see an example of one of the cabins. They will be A-Frame style and full of windows to look out into the wilderness. Plus, it looks like each cabin will come with a private beach area as well as lounge chairs and umbrellas, making this the perfect relaxing getaway!

This update is very different from the last concept art we got from Disney.
