A lot of projects have wrapped up at the Disneyland Resort, but there will still be some pretty significant closures in June…

Summer’s about to hit full swing at Disneyland, and — for the most part — the resort will be PACKED with tons of fantastic offerings. However, there are some pretty big closures continuing into June 2026 that you need to know about if you plan on visiting soon.
This June, Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure will have a combined 4 attractions closed at some point. They are as follows:
Disneyland Park
Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters — Reopening TBA
Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters closed on April 13th for a lengthy refurbishment, and there is no indication it’ll be reopened in June.

This interactive arcade shooter themed after Buzz Lightyear and Star Command is listed on the Disneyland refurbishment calendar into July. It’s possible it opens before then, so make sure you’re checking back here for the latest updates.

Pirates of the Caribbean — Reopening TBA
Disneyland’s Pirates of the Caribbean began a lengthy refurbishment on May 4th, and like Astro Blasters, it’s listed to remain closed into July.

The attached Blue Bayou Restaurant also closed on May 4th, but it reopened on May 21st. Keep in mind that it’s available in a different capacity, however, as construction continues on the ride.

Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind — Reopening TBA
Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind has been closed since January and may remain closed all throughout June.

This small carnival-like ride themed after the Pixar franchise is still standing in the back of Pixar Pier, but it’s been out of commission for quite a while with no reopening date announced. We’ll let you know when something is revealed.
Silly Symphony Swings — Reopening TBA
Another Disneyland Resort ride popped up on the refurbishment calendar with no official reopening date.

Silly Symphony Swings closed on April 27th, 2026, and is still on the refurbishment calendar into July.
