15 Rides Were CLOSED Yesterday in Disney World

It’s bound to happen at least once during your Disney World trip: you make your way to your favorite ride only to discover that it’s temporarily closed.

Now, this could potentially ruin your whole day, especially if the closure lasts a long time. But at the same time, we’re warning you that this could happen with pretty much any ride in Disney World. So, if you had visited Disney World yesterday, you would have noticed that 15 rides were closed throughout the day.​

There’s not a lot you can do about ride closures, except to try to stay on top of them. Most rides will reopen later (and often, the closures don’t even last a full hour). You can see when a ride reopens by continuing to check it on the My Disney Experience app. If you catch a ride reopening quickly, you can make your way over to that ride before everyone else and end up with a shorter wait time.

If, for some reason, the ride doesn’t reopen, at least you have plenty of other rides available in each park. But more often than not, you’ll get a second chance to ride your favorite attraction.
