Disney's 'Star Wars' Land Just Changed FOREVER.

Some HUGE changes are coming to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland.

Batuu’s current timeline, which has it set during the Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Wars: The Last Jedi films, is now shifting its timeline to include ALL of Star Wars, including the original trilogy, The Mandalorian, and Ahsoka. With that change comes some new characters to the land!

We decided to visit the new version of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to see some of these new characters for ourselves. First, don’t worry! Your favorite Batuu characters can also still be seen, including Rey, The Mandalorian and Grogu, R2-D2, and Ahsoka.

Speaking of R2-D2, when we visited, he was hanging out with Luke Skywalker, one of the new characters you can meet here. Right now, you can catch him at noon, 1:45 PM, 3:15 PM, and 4:30 PM near the Black Spire Marketplace.

We were really excited to see Princess Leia. She’s wearing a brand new costume based on the 2015 comic series, Star Wars Battlefront. You can currently catch her throughout the morning and at 12:30 PM and 1:45 PM. She’ll be hanging around the Millennium Falcon.

Darth Vader is also now in Batuu with Imperial Troopers — they’re hunting down the Rebellion. See them in action at 12:15 PM, 1 PM, 1:45 PM, 2:15 PM, 3 PM, 3:45 PM, 4:15 PM, and 5 PM.

Note that these times could change, so be sure to double-check the times on the Disneyland app.

The new land also SOUNDS a lot different. You’ll now hear familiar music from John Williams’ iconic score for the first six Star Wars movies.
