Disney's Hollywood Studios Looks Completely Different Today

We’re less than a month away from the brand-new animation courtyard opening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and walls are starting to come down already!

The Magic of Disney Animation opens at Hollywood Studios on May 26th, and we seriously can’t wait. We recently went to the park and saw that a lot more can be seen at this new courtyard that we couldn’t see before. Of course, we’re sharing it with you!

On May 26th, the newly reimagined Walt Disney Studios Courtyard will open. The new area is bringing back the iconic Sorcerer Mickey hat in a new way, and the nostalgia hits you hard when you see it.

Disney has taken down a good portion of the walls in the construction area, opening up a pathway to walk down, right beside The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure.

We also noticed some new signs that were put up, like this “Walt Disney Studios” picture, which just gives the courtyard some more of that retro and nostalgic look. It feels amazing to have this cartoon lot aesthetic back at the park.

This new area is going to feature things like Disney Princess meet-and-greets, an Alice in Wonderland playground for kiddos, drawing classes with an Olaf animatronic, and more!

May 26th will also bring the brand-new show — Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! This live show is inspired by Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+, and invites everyone to celebrate with the ultimate party. This new experience will be located in the former Disney Jr. Dance Party space at the new animation courtyard. If it sounds familiar, this show is also over at Disneyland Resort!
