Something Is MISSING From Disney’s Latest Announcement

Disney has just released so much concept art for their newest upcoming resort, Lakeshore Lodge.

This concept art has revealed so much about what we can expect to find at this new resort. However, we noticed that something is missing…

This new concept art has revealed several new restaurants, a beautiful lounge, and new details surrounding the lobby.

However, we noticed that one element of the lobby from previous concept art appears to be gone. Several months ago, we received concept art of the lobby that showcased a large Pocahontas statue in the center, but in the new concept art, this statue is no longer there.

But that doesn’t mean the Pocahontas representation is gone from the lobby. The new concept art now shows a shimmering fiberoptic river which will illuminate the floor of the lobby. There will also be a blown glass Colors of the Wind sculpture that will have hundreds of suspended glass leaves filling the lobby.

We love the importance of Pocahontas in this new resort. In fact, in the outdoor recreational area, The Wetlands will have both dry and wet play areas Disney has revealed will be inspired by Pocahontas.
