REVIEW: NEW ‘Mandalorian and Grogu’ Themed Eats Just Dropped

Star Wars fans might be busy counting down the days until May 22nd, when the next movie in the franchise hits theatersThe Mandalorian and Grogu. Ahead of that movie dropping, though, Burger King is offering up a brand new meal to celebrate.

Yep, that’s right. We went to Burger King to try the Bounty Bundle, a meal themed around the new Star Wars movie. And now we’re going to tell you what we thought!

The Bounty Bundle is $20.99 and includes the BBQ Bounty Whopper, Grogu’s Blue Cookie Shake, Grogu’s Garlic Chicken Fries, Imperial Cheddar Tots, and one of four collectible cups.

The Bounty Bundle

Okay, let’s start with the BBQ Bounty Whopper, which is served in a Mandalorian helmet-shaped carton. It’s a flame-grilled 1/4 pound beef burger with Swiss, crispy pickle chips, bacon, lettuce, and tomato, smothered in Bounty BBQ Sauce. It’s your classic flame-grilled flavored burger with some nice, salty bacon, and just the right amount of BBQ sauce for additional flavor.

Grogu’s Blue Cookie Shake is vanilla soft serve blended with blue sugar cookie syrup. It tastes like a creamy vanilla milkshake. It’s sweet with vanilla crumbs on top that add texture. But still, it’s just a classic vanilla milkshake. But it comes in a Grogu cup!

Then we tried the Grogu’s Garlic Chicken Fries, which are seasoned with Parmesan and garlic and served in a Grogu-themed carton. You also get a garlic dipping sauce. These are well-breaded, so you get these lovely slender sticks of chicken with a crispy outside. The Parmesan and garlic add a nice bit of flavor. The garlic sauce is zesty and adds a nice creamy garlic flavor.

However, our favorite thing was the Imperial Cheddar Ranch Tots. These are tots stuffed with cheddar cheese and ranch seasoning. We were surprised at how tasty these are. The cheesy inside the potatoes is SO lovely, and we like how the ranch seasoning adds a bit of extra flavor.

Overall, this is a fun meal, and we think Star Wars fans will love the nods to the new movie, as well as the food.  Burger King nailed the flavors, and we’ll probably be back again, if only for those tots.

We’ll be trying more Disney-themed food, so be sure to check back with AllEars again soon for more.
