We Regret to Inform You About This Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Change in Disney World

If you’re visiting Disney World in the fall, it is officially time to start planning your visit to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

Spooky Magic Kingdom

If this fun Halloween event is on your Disney Bucket list, then we have some info you need to know about, so let’s dive in!

This year’s event will be running select nights from August 7th to October 31st, and a few days ago, the first tickets officially dropped. But we have some bad news.

It’s Halloween Season!

This year, the ticket prices range from $119 to as high as $229 per ticket. This is a pretty big increase from last year, when the tickets ranged in price from $119 to $199.

You can see that while that base price stayed the same, the high end has jumped up $30, which is a pretty significant difference. Now, what should you do if you want to avoid those steep prices? Choose your party night carefully.

For example, Halloween night will be at the most expensive price point, whereas other nights will be cheaper. So we would suggest looking around at those dates and choosing ones closer to that lower price point, since you could end up saving over $100 per ticket.

Tickets are currently only on sale for Walt Disney World Resort guests. However, general tickets open up on May 12th, so if you want to snag some tickets, be prepared, because certain nights will sell out quickly.

Now, these tickets can be pretty expensive, so what do you get with a party ticket? While the party officially starts at 7 pm, your ticket gets you access from 4 pm until 12 am.

Beyond that time in the parks, you also get exclusive snacks, amazing entertainment, and really low wait times. This event truly is a blast, and something we recommend if you want to go to the party but save a little money, is to not purchase a regular park ticket on the day of the party.

That way, you can relax and enjoy the morning at your resort, and be well rested for a late night of spooky fun at Magic Kingdom. Either way, if you are looking forward to this event, make sure to grab your tickets as soon as possible!
