This past week was a BIG one in Disney World, for numerous different reasons. We had May the 4th events taking place in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but the day prior, something massive happened in Magic Kingdom.

On May 3rd, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad FINALLY reopened after a 16-month-long refurbishment, and we got to be one of the first people to ride the new version of the attraction. What exactly has changed after a year and a half of closure, though? Tomorrow, you can come with us to see how it all played out in REAL time!
You’ve likely seen the wild crowd videos and photos from that opening day of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and some of you probably went “I’m glad I’m not in THAT!.” Well, we were front and center to bring you all the latest news and be one of the first to ride!

Prior to the ride reopening, Disney had announced that there was a new track, and enhanced story, and additional elements added to the ride, such as 2,000 bats, the Rainbow Caverns, and that some show elements that hadn’t worked in years would be back up and running.

But what was the ride really like? Is it worth the long wait it’s bound to have for the next few months before the new-ness wears off? Tomorrow morning at 10 AM, we’re bringing you a video detailing our ENTIRE experience, as well as our honest thoughts in the form of our Saturday YouTube premiere!

Not only will you be one of the first to see the new video, but you’ll also be able to chat with fellow AllEars viewers, as well as members of the team! Be sure to set those alarms so you don’t miss it — we can’t wait to see you there!
