There are over 30 Disney World-owned and operated hotels, but how do you know which one is right for you?

From value resorts to deluxe stays, it can be difficult to decide the right spot for you on your Disney vacation. We’re taking you inside one of our favorite rooms so you can see if it’s right for you!
If you’ve ever heard our team talk about favorite Disney World hotels, we would bet you’ve heard us mention Coronado Springs. This resort is home to some amazing dining, beautiful views, and a great pool (if we do say so ourselves).

While some of their rooms can feel far from where the action is (especially during a conference at this hotel), we feel particular passion about the rooms in the Gran Destino Tower. This is the central point of the hotel and puts you close to all of the action and dining.

During our latest stay, our room was a Tower – Resort View with two Queen beds.

When you first enter the room, you’re going to see the bathroom with a sliding door. Be warned, that sliding door doesn’t hide all noises.

In the bathroom, you’ll find a large mirror with LED lights and a standing shower. No bathtub here!

The classic Disney shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are all ready for use in the shower.

The vanity area is where you can find some detailed tiling and two sinks. Isn’t it so sweet when you can brush your teeth side by side?

On top of the counter, you can find hand soap, body lotion, sea salt bath soap, a shower cap, mouthwash, and a vanity kit. Inside the vanity kit, you’ll find cotton pads, cotton swabs, and a nail file. To the left of the mirror, there’s also a small separate room with a toilet and some decor. We appreciate that privacy!

Across from the bathroom is where you’ll find the closet.

Inside the closet, you’ll find an ironing board, an iron, laundry bags, a steamer, a safe, a luggage rack, and extra pillows and blankets. We also love to use this area as a way to get our bags off the floor and out of the way.

Next to the closet, you’ll find a little bench where you can rest your feet or put your bags on like an additional luggage rack.

Across from the beds, you’ll find a desk area with extra seating and a TV. Anyone else still miss Stacy and her must-dos?

On the desk, you’ll find a Keurig with all of your coffee necessities. We love this amenity, but we will almost always be at Barcelona Lounge to grab my morning iced beverages. They’re just too good to pass up!

Above the coffee machine, you’ll find extra shelving as well as an ice bucket and extra cups.

The room also has a drink cooler, but don’t confuse that with a mini fridge. They aren’t the same, so be aware of that before you store food or medications in there.

There’s also extra storage in the desk, so you can unpack as much as you want!

Next to the desk, you’ll find extra seating and lighting. Trust us, that chair will feel plush after a long park day.

There’s also a “Hey Disney!” voice assistant in the room! You can ask it questions about the weather, the theme parks, talk to characters, play music, and more.

Now, let’s talk beds! The two queen beds come with 4 classic Disney pillows and detailed headboards. There’s also a full-length mirror so you can check your detailed park outfit before heading out for the day.

There’s a great amount of space below the beds so you can slide your luggage under them. This will make sure the room doesn’t become overwhelming, and you don’t trip over your big suitcase!

Each headboard has a small light on both sides so you can read all night long. (We recommend reading Disney Adults after your park days).

Between the beds, you’ll find a large nightstand with more storage. There’s a lamp on the nightstand as well as a phone for your wakeup calls or questions for the front desk.

One of the best parts? The view! Eagle-eyed fans will spot the Tower of Terror, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, and more! How cool is that?!

The best part? This is considered a Moderate Disney resort! It’s still affordable by Disney’s standards, but it gives you the feeling of a deluxe experience.

This resort is in the Animal Kingdom resort area, but it’s located near EPCOT and Hollywood Studios as well. Even if you aren’t staying here, we recommend checking out the dining options here and grabbing a coffee or adult beverage while you stroll. As always, be sure to keep following AllEars for more Disney reviews, news, updates, and more.
