REVIEW: This New DOLE Whip Flight in Disney Springs Makes Us Feel Like A Kid Again

Ah, Disney Springs — one of our favorite places to go when we want something to eat, but don’t know WHAT. There are so many options, all in one place!

However, not all spots are made equally in Disney Springs, and with offerings changing so often, how do you know which ones are worth the visit? That’s what we’re here for! We try all the new offerings so you don’t have to, and can just grab the ones you know are solid, and will be ones you love. If you’re a big fan of DOLE Whip and nostalgia, this treat at Swirls on the Water is one you CANNOT miss!

This season’s DOLE Whip Flight is available for $8.99 and is a great way to try multiple different flavors without having a whole cup of each one. Available on the flight currently are DOLE Whip Pineapple, Vanilla Soft-serve, with Fresh Pineapple Wedge, DOLE Whip Watermelon, and DOLE Whip Lime with White Sprinkles, and DOLE Whip Strawberry and Banana Soft-serve with Strawberry Sauce and Peanuts.

Now the DOLE Whip Pineapple and Vanilla Soft-serve is the classic combination we can never get enough of. The sweetness of the vanilla combines wonderfully with the slight sharp acidity of the pineapple. The pineapple wedge is a super fun addition as well!

The Strawberry Banana Swirl tasted exactly like a peanut butter and jelly, with the addition of banana! The sauce tasted like strawberry jam, the peanuts were a nice addition and crunch factor, and the strawberry Dole Whip tasted very similar to strawberry yogurt. The banana did have a very artificial taste to it, almost like banana candy, so that wasn’t our favorite. Somehow, though, it all works well together!

Finally, the Watermelon and Lime Swirl tasted EXACTLY like those watermelon Blow Pop lollipops we had so often as kids! You’ve gotta be a fan of sour flavors to enjoy this one, and since we’re big fans, we loved it. Now, the sprinkles did throw us off a bit, not because they added any additional flavor, but just because they added a crunch we aren’t totally sure it needed.
