An EPCOT Attraction Opened a Day Early, and We Couldn't Be Happier

We’ve got great news out of EPCOT‘s France Pavilion!

For weeks now, Palais du Cinema, which houses both the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along and Impressions de France, as been closed for refurbishment. While it’s original reopening date was May 10th, it actually just opened a day early!

That’s right! Palais du Cinema quietly opened its doors today for guests for the first time in weeks. Following its same schedule from before, you can see Impressions de France from 9 AM to 9:30 AM, as well as from 7 PM to 8:45 PM, while the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along runs from 10 AM to 6:30 PM. Yes, that means if you want to see both shows, you’ll need to visit twice!

We love seeing the costume and prop displays inside the theater, not to mention how it’s a fantastic spot to get some much-needed AC on a hot day.

When you walk inside the theater, pay close attention to the seats. These have been newly installed, and it’s one of two most visible changes to the theater. The other is that the curtain for Impressions de France has been fixed. However, if you’re only seeing the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, you won’t notice this change.

The Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along takes you through a few iconic songs from the film, but all from LeFou’s perspective! Meanwhile Impressions de France takes you through different scenes in France. We adore both shows, but we’ll also admit that if you’re looking for a cool, comfortable spot to take a quick nap, this is a great choice.
