It’s really happening, y’all!
Epic Universe is officially opening on May 22nd, 2025! While everyone is (understandably) excited about the theme park’s grand opening, we also can’t wait to step inside Universal’s new Helios Grand Hotel. Now, we’ve got an update for the hotel…and you’re going to want to see it!
Universal’s Helios Grand Hotel is now open to book! The hotel will open alongside Epic Universe on May 22nd, 2025.
You can head to the Universal website or the Loews website to book your room. There are several room types to choose from including a kids’ suite themed to How to Train Your Dragon!
This hotel has most of the same perks as the other Universal hotels, including complimentary transportation and early entry into the theme parks. What makes Helios stand out, though, is the direct park entrance into Epic Universe! It will be the first of its kind at Universal Orlando, and we can’t wait to check it out for ourselves.
However, one huge perk is missing—the Express Pass is NOT included. At the other Signature Collection hotels, the Unlimited Express Pass is included for everyone in the room, but this will not be available at Helios as of now.
When Universal made the big announcement, the website listed the hotel with rooms starting at $293 per night.
As of today, October 22nd, demand is so high to visit Epic Universe and stay at Helios that it has already sold out every day in May. But don’t worry—other dates are still available to book, and here is a breakdown of the average cost of each room.
Prices for these rooms vary depending on demand and the time of year. The following prices are just the average, depending on which room type you are looking to book.
