Calling all singers, dancers, and performers, it’s officially that time of year when Disney is looking for talent for their Holiday shows!

Disney has just released their casting call for some of this year’s holiday shows, and here’s everything you need to know if you are interested in auditioning! Plus, is this Disney’s quiet way of confirming some of our favorite shows are back?
This year, Disney is looking for both dancers and vocalists to join their holiday show ensemble, and these casting calls confirm three shows that will be returning this holiday season! So let’s go through all of the shows currently open for auditions and what Disney is looking for.

Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration
This is a castle show that takes place during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Currently, auditions are open for the following roles.
- Female Presenting Vocalists: Must be a pop soprano who can sing Latin, contemporary pop, and musical theater styles. Being bilingual is a plus.
- Male Presenting Vocalists: Must be a high-bari tenor who can sing contemporary pop, country, and musical theater styles.
- Male and Female Presenting Dancers: Must have exceptional dance technique and be proficient in many styles of dance, including musical theater-jazz, country, and Latin. Knowledge of dance lifts and partnering is a plus.

For these roles, you must submit your auditions online. The contracts will run from mid-September through early January!

Disney Jollywood Nights: Holidays in Hollywood
This is a stage show that takes place in the Theatre of Stars during Hollywood Studios’ Jollywood nights.

This show will feature The Muppets and some of your favorite Disney characters, as you relive the glamour of vintage Hollywood television specials. Currently, auditions are open for the following roles:
- Female Identifying Vocalist: Must be a strong mezzo-soprano who can sing pop and jazz.
- Male Identifying Vocalist: Must be a tenor comfortable singing in a high-energy big band style.
- Male and Female Presenting Dancers: Must have exceptional dance technique and be proficient in many styles of dance, including musical theater, jazz, and swing. Knowledge of dance lifts and partnering is a plus.

For these roles, you must submit your auditions online. The contracts will run from mid-September through early January.

A Frozen Holiday Surprise
This is a Frozen castle show that takes place during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and auditions are currently open to local Central Florida Actors for the following roles:
- Anna: Must be between 5’3 and 5’7, and be able to play quirky and fun, while having strong comedic timing.
- Elsa: Must be between 5’3 and 5’7, and have a strong and elegant stage presence.
- Kristoff: Must be between 5’10 and 6’2, and be quick-witted with great comedic timing.

Candidates must submit their auditions online. However, if you have auditioned For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along, you are already being considered for this role and do not need to audition again.
