We’ve Got A HUGE Update About Disneyland’s Bats Day in 2027

Although you can attend a ton of official events in Disneyland, like Star Wars Nite, Pride Nite, Disney Channel Nite, and more, there are also some really great unofficial events created by fans that are a lot of fun to take part in, such as Dapper Day.

But Disneyland also hosts an annual Bats Day in the Fun Park, which is a gathering of visitors in Disneyland dressed in their favorite dark and gothic gear. It’s always a ton of fun, and now we know when the 2027 event will take place.

The 2027 Bats Day in the Fun Park event will happen on May 1st for pre-events and May 2nd for the day in the park.

Bats Day in the Fun Park is an event that describes itself as “NOT a themed dress up day.” The event is for those who are already a part of the dark subculture community and who already wear that style of dress every day. So that makes it different from Dapper Day, when people deliberately dress up in vintage fashion. The event is more like a convention for those in the dark subculture to get together and have some fun in Disneyland. It also includes meeting spots and photo ops.

The event’s history goes all the way back to 1999, when several promoters of goth/industrial and death rock clubs met up to celebrate the dark subculture. Now, the event has grown into an annual event that folks look forward to every year. So if you’re interested in attending, mark this date in your calendar.
