It’s About to Get MORE Expensive to Eat at This Iconic Disney World Hotel Restaurant

We love heading to California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort for great food and amazing fireworks viewing.

But there’s a change coming to California Grill that you need to know about – prices will go up in June! 

California Grill is the premier restaurant of the Contemporary Resort, featuring California-style cuisine and sushi. Their 3-course selection menu features fresh, seasonal ingredients and blends new flavors, textures, and techniques. The 3-course menu includes one appetizer, one entrée, and one dessert.

Currently, the price of a 3-course selection is $99 per person for adults ages 10 and up, plus tax and gratuity, and $39 per child ages 3 to 9, plus tax and gratuity. But starting July 2nd, the children’s price will increase to $42 per child ages 3 to 9, plus tax and gratuity. For large families, this new price increase can add up fast!

California Grill is a popular spot not only for its food, but also for the views of the Magic Kingdom and surrounding areas. The lounge or outer balcony is a popular spot to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks with a perfect view. If you want to watch the fireworks from California Grill but can’t afford the dinner’s price tag, we have a hack for you!

You can dine at the California Grill Lounge to gain access to the same balcony at a lower price. The lounge is first-come, first-served, but if you dine at California Grill Lounge earlier in the evening when it’s not as busy, you can return with your receipt to the lounge or outdoor deck for the fireworks!
