If you’re planning a trip to Disney World this summer, you’re probably thinking about where to stay, what restaurants to eat at, or how to beat the heat.

Probably not what time you’re going to enter the parks. However, Disney has announced a new ticket type that could completely change the game this summer. Let’s get into it!
Disney has just announced a brand new type of ticket that could help you save a little money this summer, but you’ll have to prepare to lose some of your park time.

Starting on May 26th and running through July 29th, 2026, guests can purchase an after-2 PM ticket! This means that your ticket would only be valid for admission after 2 PM. Now, this is an incredibly unique Disney ticket offering, so let’s get into all of the details if you’re interested in this ticket.

This ticket can be bought in either a two-day or a three-day package. For the two-day ticket, the price starts at $118 per day, while the three-day ticket price starts at $116 per day.

And this ticket gives you admission into one of the four Disney parks per day. So park hopping is not included. This ticket type also does not require theme park reservations.

However, the tickets must be used within four days of the selected start date for the two-day ticket, or five days for the three-day ticket.

This is an amazing option if you love to sleep in and have a relaxing morning. Or if you want to spend your mornings enjoying your Disney World hotel before hopping into the parks. This option is also great for all those night owls who love staying up late and enjoying the theme parks at night.

However, if you’re looking to get done as much as possible on your Disney trip, this might not be the option for you. You’ll be losing a significant amount of time in the morning, including rope drop, where you’re usually able to get a lot done.

Overall, this is a super unique offering, and we are excited to see Disney expanding their ticket deals to give guests more options on how they want to book their Disney vacation!
A word of warning, though — it could get pretty crowded in the afternoons. Expect a flood of people “rope dropping” their 2 PM ticket, which means longer attraction lines, bigger crowds for the afternoon parades, and nighttime fireworks. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!

We will make sure to keep you informed of any future ticketing changes, and how this 2 PM ticket might impact the crowds at Disney wants it starts, so stay tuned to AllEars so you never miss anything!
