After months of waiting, an all-new EPCOT food spot is finally open!

La Poutinerie in World Showcase officially opened today, and we are so excited to check it out.
This brand-new spot is hosted by Air Canada and features different specialty Poutines as well as many different drinks inspired by Canada. We are thrilled that La Poutinerie is now open.

The menu includes two different specialty Poutines. The Québec: L’Authentique for $10.99 and the Montréal: Viande Fumée for $12.99.

The specialty drinks include a non-alcoholic Spiced Apple Slushy. For alcoholic drinks there is a Spiced Apple Mule as well as a variety of Canadian Lagers and Ales.

Now, it’s time to get into our full review of everything we tried. First up, we grabbed the Québec: L’Authentique for $10.99. This is made with French Fries, Cheese Curds, and Brown Gravy.

This was absolutely delicious! The fries were cooked fantastically and were very well season. The cheese curds are exactly what you want, very cheesy and fresh.

We were also shocked, but happy, that the gravy was very light. The gravy was also salty with a great umami flavor that was so good. This was very big and can definitely be shared.

Next we tried the Montréal: Viande Fumée for $12.99. This is made with French Fries, Cheese Curds, Smoked Meat, Pickles, and Mustard Gravy. This was very different from any poutine we’ve tried before.

The mustard sauce went phenomenally with the smoked beef, and the pickles added a nice fresh crispness that balanced everything out. The bites where you got all of the toppings, the fries, cheese curds, and everything all together were the best.

We did like the Québec a little more since it was more similar to what we think of as poutine. However, both were incredibly delicious, and this is a great option if you are looking for a fun twist on poutine or something unique to try.

Lastly, we grabbed the Spiced Apple Mule for $14.50. This is made with Frozen Ginger Beer, Lively Lime, Spiced Apple Flavors, and Iceberg Canadian Vodka. This drink is Fall in a cup!

The Ginger Beer added a great, pleasant burn which complemented the heavy autumnal flavors so well. The Vodka flavor is subtle and not at all overpowering.

If you are not a fan of Ginger Beer, we would recommend skipping this since that flavor is very strong. We cannot wait to come back and get this again during the fall, but for now, we will just be dreaming of cool weather as we sip on this delicious drink.

We are always looking for fantastic new dining spots around World Showcase, especially places where you can grab a great snack or meal when no EPCOT festivals are happening. We already know this spot is going to be a fantastic addition to EPCOT.

We had an amazing time visiting La Poutinerie today, and we can’t wait for everyone to try this new spot. We always make sure to keep you informed of any Disney food news, so stay tuned with AllEars so you never miss anything!
