This Popular Disney World Lounge Has Reopened EARLY!

With so many construction projects happening around Disney World, we know how it can feel hard to keep track of them all. Don’t worry, that’s why we’re here!

Back in late February, a popular lounge over at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort closed its doors for what was originally stated to be about a four-month-long refurbishment. However, to our surprise, the lounge has now reopened WEEKS early!

Crew’s Cup Lounge closed its doors on February 23rd, and had an original planned reopening of June 1st. Originally, this caused it to overlap with the refurbishment closure of Yachtsman Steakhouse, which is set to close temporarily on May 11th. However, the lounge has now reopened its doors just in time to be back available before the restaurant next door closes!

When we walked up, there was a red ribbon and everything to celebrate the reopening. Then, we watched all the Cast Members involved with the reopening take a group photo!

We asked a Cast Member what had changed during this refurbishment, as we didn’t immediately notice anything, and their response? Well, that they’d been asking the same question for the past few days! With that being said, the lounge looks great, but it doesn’t seem any major changes have been made.

If you’re a big fan of the menu over at Yachtsman Steakhouse, but don’t want to worry about grabbing a reservation, Crew’s Cup Lounge is a great spot to visit. You’ll find many of the same menu items available, but sometimes in smaller portions, making them more affordable and easier to share.

Some of our favorite menu items here are the Yachtsman Signature Bread for $8 and the Prime Rib Sliders for $21, but in our experience, it’s hard to go wrong with basically the whole menu. Is that the same case after the refurbishment? Well, we’ll be back soon to visit and try it all out!
