REVIEW: This Is the $10 Disney World Dessert We Would Get Time and Time Again

A spoonful of sugar … makes us incredibly happy at Disney World!

Not to be dramatic, but we’re kinda Disney dessert nerds. We obsessed over the texture, presentation, and, best of all, the flavors of an incredible dessert, and when a snack hits all three marks, we have to share it with you.

Over at Disney Springs, we headed to Vivoli il Gelato to try the new Oreo Tiramisu, priced at $10.50. It’s made with mascarpone cream and features layers of coffee-soaked Oreos (YUM).

Before we dive right in with our spoons, can we talk about those layers? Absolutely gorgeous! It’s presented in its own little glass, where you can see the layers of Oreos, cream, and whipped cream.

Eating this tiramisu was a truly delightful experience. It stood nicely on our spoons and wasn’t too soft or too hard, but had that perfect creamy texture. The cream was thick with plenty of air bubbles, so when it hit our tongue, it felt fluffy. It paired beautifully with the bite from the coffee-soaked Oreos.

The coffee flavor was subtle, which made it easier to taste the chocolate. The coffee was on the back of each bite without making it too bitter. We also loved the crunch of the crumbled Oreos on top.

Living in Florida has its pros and cons, but one of the negatives is that our desserts melt FAST. Trying to eat ice cream is an Olympic sport in the Sunshine State, but guess what? This tiramisu didn’t instantly melt! If you wanted to share it and pass it around or walk around while eating it, you’ll have plenty of time before it turns into liquid.

We also loved the size of the snack. It was the perfect level of sweetness, and we thought this cup created a filling dessert that we could share or enjoy for ourselves.
