Orlando Airport Adds 3 NEW Nonstop Flights This Month

It’s getting a lot easier and more convenient to travel to Disney World.

Orlando Airport

If you fly, like most people who visit Disney World, you probably fly into Orlando International Airport. The good news is that more nonstop flights are being announced for the airport all the time, meaning that you have more choices than ever on how to travel for your next Disney World trip.

If you are flying into the Orlando International Airport, you’ll want to know a few things. First, if you’ll also be flying OUT of Orlando International Airport, security lines can get VERY long. If you don’t have TSA PreCheck, you might want to consider using MCO Reserve, which lets you reserve a time to go through security and use a much shorter line. It’s free and very easy to use.

We also recommend giving yourself three hours when flying out of Orlando International Airport — as in, be at the airport three hours before your departure time. It’s a very busy airport, and you may very well need all that time to get checked in, get through security, and get to your gate.

You’ll also need to figure out transportation to and from Disney World. You have several options, including renting a car, using a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft, or using a shared shuttle service like Mears Connect driven by Sunshine.
