Why You Should Turn LEFT First Thing in the Morning in EPCOT

As you may know, it’s usually a good idea to have a rope drop strategy if you plan on hitting the parks first thing in the morning at Disney World.

A good rope drop strategy could help you knock out some of the most popular rides a lot faster, thanks to those shorter lines than what you would see later in the day. It’s not ALWAYS a surefire way to do that, but in EPCOT, one popular ride generally has lower wait times first thing in the morning. So we’ve got a rope drop strategy for EPCOT that will help you, and it’s all about turning left.​

Here’s what you want to do: when you get to EPCOT, walk through the front of the park and head straight to World Showcase. When you reach World Showcase, turn left and head straight to Norway. You’ll want to get in line for Frozen Ever After as quickly as you can. Why? Because in looking at wait times for the ride at rope drop, we’re seeing that it’s only a 25-minute wait when the park firs opens. This is the shortest wait time you’ll see all day for the ride.

If you are staying at a Disney World hotel, you can start heading towards Norway even earlier, thanks to Early Theme Park Entry, and that would get you on and off Frozen Ever After even faster.
