If You Love Disney World Parades, You NEED To Know This News!

Magic Kingdom is getting a GLOW UP, and we’re not talking about the Cars expansion or the Villains land being built in the park.

We’re not even talking about the big upgrades happening to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. What we ARE talking about is the debut of a brand-new nighttime parade called Disney Starlight: Dream The Night Away…and it debuts soon.

In just a week, on July 20th, Disney Starlight will make its debut in Magic Kingdom and bring a new nighttime parade to the park, the first we’ve seen in a long time. The parade will feature beautiful floats that will light up the night, featuring your favorite Disney characters and movies, including Peter Pan, Wish, Encanto, Frozen, the Princesses and Princes, Coco, Moana, and more. The music will incorporate both orchestral and electronic music.

Disney also recently revealed that Jiminy Cricket will be at the end of the parade, as a shout-out to SpectroMagic!

You’ll be able to see the first Disney Starlight parade on July 20th. You’ll have two chances to see the parade during the evening at 9 PM and 11 PM. If you’re planning on catching the parade during the holiday season, note that it will still be performed, but not on the same nights as Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

If you’re a Disney World Annual Passholder hoping to catch the parade, you need to know about a big change to park pass reservations in Magic Kingdom. Although Annual Passholders can currently visit all four Disney World theme parks without a park pass reservation after 2 PM, you’ll need one for Magic Kingdom for the entire day from July 20th on.
