Disney's NEW Magic Kingdom Parade To Continue Through Holidays

Disney World has CONFIRMED its upcoming nighttime parade will run through the holiday season!

The holidays at Disney World are truly something spectacular to see. All of the Christmas offerings around Disney World’s parks, hotels, and Disney Springs are enough to keep you busy all vacation long! But if the holiday cheer, sights, and sounds, aren’t quite enough, we now know that Disney’s newest addition is looking to stay around to see it all, too.

Disney World has just announced its holiday offerings coming later this year and within its announcements, something special caught our attention. We’ve been eagerly awaiting Disney World’s new nighttime parade’s debut in days but now we know for sure that it’s going to be around to see the year out.

In the upcoming holiday announcements, Disney World confirmed that the Disney Starlight parade would continue performances through the Christmas season. The new parade, coming July 20th, will usher in a new nighttime spectacular featuring all-new parade floats, beloved characters, and, yes, lots of twinkling lights!

While we’ve all been excited to see this new parade in Magic Kingdom, we weren’t quite sure how Disney planned to work it into holiday season plans until now. Disney World intends to keep Disney Starlight performing for two performances a night (weather permitting) through the holiday season. However, they did point out that on the nights of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, this parade offering would not be performed, instead of holiday party festivities happening on select nights.
