Great for families and the WDW version is better than the original. Yes, the song will be stuck in your head all day, but you're at Disney so it's not a bad thing!
Pros:
Cute, family friendlyCons:
it can be a bit long - especially with the song repeating.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 06/18/2023

It was torture! The song never ended and I felt like jumping overboard. But not a smart move since I can't swim and I would still have to hear that song. So, I rode it out. BUT NEVER AGAIN
Pros:
Cool airCons:
Song on repeat. I would suggest making the song maybe more universal in different languages.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 01/20/2023

Incredibly boring with very annoying song. It's extremely outdated and really needs to be replaced.

Hands down my least favorite attraction at Disney. I know that is considered Disney sacrilege but I really can’t stand this ride. The song on repeat makes me nuts and the dolls are extremely creepy. All I can think of is the scene from the Johnny Depp version of Charlie and the chocolate factory where the dolls catch on fire and keep singing and dancing while the burn and melt.
The ride just goes on forever and never really has any redeeming qualities
Pros:
I guess maybe that it’s iconic?? 😬Cons:
The whole thingReviewed by Un1v3rs4lStud10S Review Date: 07/11/2022

I got lucky, I didn't get the song stuck in my head. Other than that, it was kind of boring, the dolls are kind of creepy, and even the song didn't get stuck in my head, it was still annoying. The only reason we rode this was because it is a huge icon of Walt Disney World.
Pros:
It's relaxing.Cons:
The dolls can be creepy, it can be boring, and the song will most likely get stuck in your head. All day long. Maybe even for your whole trip, and the following week, the following month, and the following year.Reviewed by TeacherManJoe Review Date: 06/23/2022

Ahhhhhhhhhh, small world. What a delightful concoction of nostalgia, high quality, and constant ear-work inducing music.
But really, it does not really get much (or any?) more classic Disney than It’s a Small World. With a melding of beautiful messages of global community, impressively artistic animatronics, and a relaxing boat ride (no, the song does not get a compliment though I LOVE it), Small World has all you could want out of a Disney ride. A classic that is still heartwarming and excellent today!
Pros:
Just a straight up classic Great message about globalism Excellent artistically-created animatronicsCons:
The ever-controversial song (I happen to love the song, but I know that it is a major con for some)Reviewed by Mariet Review Date: 05/17/2022

A Disney classic!! I feel it is a must do for those taking their first trip to WDW. A lot of people think of this as a kiddie ride, but it is nice and relaxing (although the song may not make it that way for some through the ride). The song does not get on my nerves, like it does with some people. I just sit back and sing along quietly with the Small World kids.

A very slow boat ride with great theming and a lot to look at.
