Things To Do Onboard the Disney Magic

The Disney Magic has a lot of onboard entertainment that is fun for the whole family. Here is a rundown of all the activities and entertainment guests can enjoy.

Pools

The Magic has a main pool and several hot tubs. Goofy’s Pool has a main freshwater pool and two whirlpool spas, and it also serves as a location for fun Cast Member-led activities, pizza, and poolside movies.

The AquaLab water playground has a “beach” area, spraying jets, pouring “paint” cans, geysers, leaky pipes, wheels and levers, and more. There is also a waterslide for bigger kids and a splash zone for toddlers and infants.

The Quiet Cove Pool is available only to adults 18 and over, where there are two whirlpool spas, lounge chairs, poolside drinks, and more. Cast Member-led activities are available in the area occasionally.

Waterslides

The featured slide on the Disney Magic is the AquaDunk, a wild water coaster with a 48-inch height requirement. This slide begins 37 feet above the decks, with a 212-feet plummet.

Theater Shows

The Walt Disney Theatre is the main theater on the Disney Magic, and it’s the home of live Broadway-style shows featuring favorite Disney stories, as well as 3D movies.

There are three shows you can catch on the Disney Magic, including Twice Charmed: An Original Twist on the Cinderella Story, a show that begins where the 1950 Cinderella film ended and features a “what if?” plot.

Tangled: The Musical is a stage adaptation of the story of Rapunzel from Tangled, and it features some of your favorite songs from the movie as well as new songs!

And Disney Dreams — An Enchanted Classic tells the story of a girl named Anne Marie as she learns how to believe in herself through the visits of Disney characters such as Mickey, Minnie, the Blue Fairy, Peter Pan, and more.

Other Live Entertainment

Marvel Day at Sea is available on select 5-night cruises from Miami to the Bahamas and the Western Caribbean, where guests can enjoy meeting Marvel characters and watch a show featuring Captain America.

Mickey’s Sail-A-Wave Party!…A Bon Voyage Celebration is a dance party, including a DJ and a big celebration with the Cruise Director.

Pirate Night includes a pirate-themed dinner, a show, and a deck party. The party features Disney characters and the end of the night is usually capped off with a fireworks display.

On select 7-night cruises, the atrium on the Disney Magic will be transformed into Arendelle, featuring special Frozen characters and activities, including a dining experience and a deck party.

Kids’ Entertainment

Kids can visit Disney’s Oceaneer Club for a variety of activities, including themed play spaces such as Andy’s Room, Marvel Super Hero Academy, Disney Junior, and Pixie Hollow. There are also some character experiences that may be available!
