Are you ready to face your destiny? Disney Cruise Line’s new ship, the Disney Destiny, is asking you just that.

The ship, which will be themed around Disney heroes and villains will set out on its maiden voyage later this year and will include a Lion King-themed dining experience, a Pirates of the Caribbean lounge, a Cruella de Vil piano lounge, Haunted Mansion Parlor, and more. However, there will also be a special place just for kids, the Oceaneer’s Club, and Disney just shared a big update about that.
The Disney Destiny’s Oceaneer’s Club will be dedicated to Sugar Rush, the game that Vanellope von Schweetz plays in Wreck-It Ralph. Disney Imagineers are in the process of bringing the video game to life at the entrance to the Oceaneer Club that will transport kids to the world of Sugar Rush. Colorful sweets are being incorporated into every detail, including candy-shaped lighting fixtures and custom carpet that looks like the speedway outlined with chocolate and caramel sauce.

The space will also get life-size statues of Vanellope and Ralph. This pair “perfectly embodies the dynamic duality of the ship’s heroes and villains theme, reminding us that even the so-called ‘villains’ can be heroes in their own right.” Here’s a sneak peek at the Vanellope statue as Imagineer Meg Tracy takes a close look at the paint treatment to make sure it matches the film.

We’ve also got a sneak peek at the Ralph statue.

The Oceaneer’s Club is for kids ages 3-10 where parents can drop off their kids. Specially trained counselors are on hand to keep an eye on the kids and help them enjoy the activities available in the club. Adults who want to get a peek at the Oceaneer’s Club can do so during Open House Times when guests of all ages are allowed to check out the space.
