FIRST LOOK INSIDE the Adult-Exclusive De Vil's Lounge on the Disney Destiny

Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship is setting sail on its maiden voyage on November 20th, 2025, from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

We were lucky enough to be invited to sail on the Destiny ahead of its maiden voyage, and of course, we’re bringing you along for the whole thing! And, now it’s time for a first look inside one of the lounges on the ship — De Vil’s Piano Lounge!

De Vil’s is a new piano lounge dedicated to the puppy-obsessed villain, Cruella De Vil. This is the first of its kind, and you won’t find this lounge on any other Disney cruise ship. The lounge is exclusive to adults and has a bold aesthetic.

Guests can wind down in style with “trendy martinis, chic cocktails, and glamorous wines and bubbles” while enjoying sultry tunes from the piano. One side of the lounge opens to the Grand Hall for a wonderful view.

The lounge is located just beyond the Grand Hall, and guests are greeted by a marquee that spells out “De Vil’s” in letters that are designed to look like piano keys.

Upon entering, you will spot a floor mosaic with Cruella De Vil’s infamous catchphrase: “How Marvelous!” The catchphrase is even surrounded by paw prints.

The carpeting features an intricate design that will pay homage to Ken Anderson, the artist who oversaw the designs of the characters in One Hundred and One Dalmatians. It will appear ink-splotched and hand-drawn. The focal point of De Vil’s is the spotted piano!

Menu highlights include the Fashionista, which combines freeze-dried strawberry and banana-infused Patrón Añejo Cristalino Tequila with banana liqueur, agave nectar, and fresh lime juice…

…and the Fearless Sir Galahad, a zero-proof cocktail with Free Spirits Non-alcoholic Bourbon, bourbon barrel-aged maple syrup, Angostura bitters, and aromatic smoke.

The Disney Destiny has a first-of-its-kind theme that focuses on Disney heroes and villains. While you are on board, you must choose a side: Heroes or Villains. According to Disney, Imagineers were “inspired by the dynamic duality of every great Disney story when developing this new ship, where opposing forces of light and dark drive characters to rise to their purpose.”
