We can’t believe it is happening, but we are officially on the brand-new Disney Destiny cruise ship! Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship is setting sail, and we are so fortunate to be on board. Of course, we are also bringing you all along with us every step of the way.
We are exploring every inch of this ship and bringing you all of our first impressions. Right now, though, we’re sharing a first look inside The Sanctum lounge!
The Sanctum lounge will take you on a journey into the world of Doctor Strange. Inside this themed lounge, you will find spellbinding cocktails, spirits, and coffee drinks.
The Sanctum is filled with “enchanted artifacts designed to aid sorcerers in protecting the world, creating an atmosphere brimming with magic and mystery.”
While you are enjoying your cocktail or coffee, be sure to check out the hidden details from Doctor Strange’s New York Sanctum. The circular mirror behind the bar echoes the famed window of the Santcum.
You can also spot the Cloak of Levitation and spell books from the library of Kamar-Taj.
The Sanctum Lounge features drinks such as the Mirror Dimension, which is made with Stoli Elit Vodka, Llchee, fresh lemon juice, pink peppercorn, and electric dust buzz rock. It comes in a special glass that reacts to your touch.
You can also get the Circle of the Cosmos, made with Brunswick Aces Diamonds Gin, verjus blanc, and fresh lemon juice, garnished with a lemon peel spiral.
Or, you can grab the Vapors of Valtorr. It is made with Grey Goose Altius Vodka, ginger beer, fresh lime juice, butterfly pea flower syrup, and topped with berry-flavored bubbles.
If you are craving some sweet bites, you can also get Stuffed Waffles with a custard cream or mixed berry compote filling.
