One of the hardest decisions to make on your Disney World Vacation is whether or not to purchase Lightning Lanes. It’s hard to know when it’s worth the extra cost, or if you should just go without.

However, it looks like May might be a great time to grab Lighting Lane Multi Pass in Magic Kingdom!
Throughout the years, there have been MANY skip-the-line services at Disney World, all the way back to paper Fast Passes, then Fast Pass +, to Genie+, and now, Lighting Lane Multi Pass and Lighting Lane Single Pass.

Essentially, this iteration of the system allows you to either skip the line at all participating attractions (Multi Pass) or purchase a single Lighting Lane for the most popular ride in each park (Single Pass). Magic Kingdom actually offers two single passes! One for Tron and one for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.

However, today we are only going to be discussing Multi Pass. The past few weeks have been extremely crowded as Disney World has faced the intense Spring Break crowds. And as a result, the price for Lighting Lane Multi Pass has been as high as $45 dollars per person in Magic Kingdom.

However, we just saw that on May 10th, the Magic Kingdom Multi-Pass Lighting Lane is going to be $29 a person! This is the lowest price we’ve seen since February.

However, depending on your party size, that price can add up quickly, so it’s important to consider what is best for you and your party to decide whether or not to use Lighting Lane.

We do think that Magic Kingdom is a park that would be worth the cost of Lighting Lane Multi Pass, since there are just so many attractions, while a park like Animal Kingdom, you can probably ride everything without, or grab a Lighting Lane Single Pass to skip the line on Avatar Flight of Passage.

Either way, we are thrilled to see the price of Lighting Lane Multi Pass starting to go down, and hopefully, there will be a small dip in prices across the parks before the Summer crowds start to ramp up!
